Code BPM005575 Description: Renovation of the Santa Cruz Warehouse in Tucson Pursuant to the Arizona Procurement Code, A.R.S. 412501 et seq., the State of Arizona Department of Transportation (Department), has a requirement for the Renovation of the Santa Cruz Warehouse in Tucson. Introduction and Background 2.1. The Santa Cruz Warehouse is located at 2599 S. Fiandaca Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85713. 2.2. The warehouse is a relatively new metal building and estimated to have been completed in the 1970-80s. The warehouse is in good condition, and is in need of infrastructure and occupancy upgrades. This will incorporate the Transportation Systems Management Operations (TSMO), Signing and Striping Unit, and the TSMO Signal and Lighting Unit into new combined crew areas and support offices developed within the existing warehouse structure. The remainder of the warehouse will be utilized for associated storage for paint, signs, and lighting equipment in support of the units utilizing the building. 2.3. The existing warehouse is approximately 18,079 square feet (sq. ft.). The new developed crew and office areas will be 3,936 sq. ft., and located within the existing warehouse area. 2.3.1. The areas will include offices, workstations, crew meeting/break rooms, kitchen areas, restrooms, electronic workrooms, IT room, and storage rooms. 2.3.2. Infrastructure upgrades include City of Tucson sewer connection, increased water connection, and cooling modifications throughout the warehouse area. 2.4. No asbestos or lead paint has been identified within or in the existing building.
