The City of Arcata is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services for the Old Arcata Road Improvements Project. The City intends to enter an agreement with a qualified firm to assist in the administration of the construction contract for the project, which is anticipated to begin in September 2023 and continue through December 2024. The City has been awarded funding for this Project through State Transportation Improvements Program (STIP) and the Highway Infrastructure Program (HIP), administered by Caltrans. Consultant Services are federally funded, and the awarded contract will be subject to compliance with the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedural Manual and Davis-Bacon Act wage rules and additional federal requirements specified in the RFP.
