Subject project calls for a proposal to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and transport needed in performing all work required to cut (mechanically and by hand), herbicide (motorized and by hand), dispose and/or incinerate vegetative debris and habitat restoration through 123 acres of invasive vegetation removal within 32 Land Management Units (LMU) at CCSFS, FL. The habitat restoration is mitigation for loss of potential scrub habitat due to the site clearing for the Skid Strip required by USFWS Biological Opinion for the federally listed Florida Scrub-jay. The intent of the project is to restore scrub habitat as mitigation for loss of potential habitat due to the land clearing in accordance with the Project Specifications The contractor and/or subcontractor shall furnish all supervision, licenses, field inspection Quality Control, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment, necessary to cut (mechanically and by hand), herbicide (motorized and by hand), dispose and/or incinerate vegetative debris and habitat restoration through 123 acres of invasive vegetation removal within 32 Land Management Units (LMU) at CCSFS, FL. The habitat restoration is mitigation for loss of potential scrub habitat due to the site clearing for the Skid Strip required by USFWS Biological Opinion for the federally listed Florida Scrub-jay. The period of performance will be 765 days, to include 160 no-dig/ non-access/ non-burn days. The intent of the project is to restore scrub habitat as mitigation for loss of potential habitat due to the land clearing. The contractor shall perform services with coordination of the 45 Environmental Conservation office and the CCSFS Project Manager through the Contracting Officer.
