Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This is a Design Build project to remediate existing pedestrian facilities into compliance with current disability access standards (ADA) at 22 sites. The scope of work includes but is not limited to design and construction of sidewalk replacement, curb ramp installation/replacement, street work, utility coordination, and tree work to ADA Compliance. At the time of bid the contractor must possess a valid State of California Contractor's License Classification of "A." The deadline for receipt of written technical questions is July 19, 2023. Requests for clarification of conflicts and omissions from the contract documents shall be addressed in writing to: YOOBIN KIM, P.E. Sidewalk Division 1149 S. Broadway, Suite 700 Los Angeles, CA 90015 Yoobin.Kim@lacity.org LIQUIDATED DAMAGES $500 and $1,000 per Calendar Day The Board of Public Works anticipated level of MBE participation is 4%, WBE participation is 2%, SBE participation is 25%, EBE participation is 8%, and DVBE participation is 3% (See Part III of the Proposal).
