The City of Blair is accepting sealed bid for the construction of Blair Generations Park, NPS 31-01089. The work consists of all construction indicated on the drawings and specifications, included but not limited to the following. A new park restroom, amphitheater, splash pad, playground, pickle-ball courts, basketball court, sidewalks, parking lot, and site lighting. All required site, framing, finishing, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work shall be included under this contract. Federal funds will be used to assist with the development to this project. Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid security in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount. Said check or bid security shall be made payable to the City of Blair, Nebraska and shall be forfeited to the city in the event the bidder to whom an award is made refuses or fails to enter unto an agreement, as required by the specifications, within ten calendar days after being notified of such an award. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and/or all bid and to wave informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion, serve the best interests of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
