Improvements will include ADA compliance, signing, pavement markings and minor drainage modifications. This project will enhance safety upgrades by providing pedestrian facilities for both Freeport Elementary, Freeport Middle School and Freeport Village Apartments located within a major roadway in Walton County. This Project is federally funded through a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's base bid price made payable to Walton County Board of County Commissioners, and in the form of a certified bank check or a Bid Bond. The Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the bid selected by the County, satisfactory to the County, then this obligation shall be void. The County further reserves the right to waive any and all informalities, and reserves the right to reject all nonconforming, unresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.
