As of April 16, 2025, a general contractor was awarded. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Board of County Commissioners of Wood County, Ohio, is requesting Statement of Qualifications to provide architectural and engineering services for renovations and proposed drawings for expansion of the Wood County Combined General Health District, 1840 East Gypsy Lane, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Statement of Qualifications must include the following: The firm's technical approach to the project. The firm's plan for managing and performing the work. Information relative to workload and availability of qualified personnel and facilities. List of personnel who will be assigned to project and their background information including technical expertise. The location of the office in which the work will be performed. Experience working with other Health Districts. Summary of the firm's experience designing facilities for Combined General Health Districts in Ohio within the last 10 years. The Wood County Health Department recently completed a renovation of the space that supports its Community Health Center. This new project will address the renovation of all other parts of the Health Department offices to continue to effectively support the delivery of services to the public. The successful Architectural and Engineering firm will facilitate the finalization of the renovation plan, produce drawings and cost estimates for the renovation plan, support the competitive bid process to choose the contractor and shepherd the construction process through completion, along with other applicable activities ensure the building renovation is successfully completed. Facility must stay operational during construction. The Board of County Commissioners will review the qualifications submitted based on information submitted and will select a firm to negotiate a contract.
