As of December 8, 2025, construction has not started. All subs have been let. There was a delay in securing a construction manager but a contractor has been awarded. They are awaiting Council approval to secure the Construction Management and Inspection Services contract, anticipated at this evening’s meeting. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The Green Street Demonstration Project on Main Street has been identified as a project in the Stormwater Master Plan for the City. The project seeks to improve water quality for runoff discharged to the Upper LA River Watershed Area through capture, infiltration, and filtration. The project will improve the medians on Main Street and add tree canopy. This project will offer runoff storage and water quality benefits for the City that can address the additional needs for stormwater management identified to achieve compliance with NPDES MS4 permit requirements ........... Request for Proposals - Engineering Design Services for Green Street Demonstration Project on Main Street The City of Alhambra is requesting a proposal from your firm for professional engineering design services for the Green Street Demonstration Project on Main Street. The City of Alhambra reserves the right to adjust this schedule as necessary. Execution of Contract and Notice to Proceed October 19, 2023 Contract Award by the City Council September 25, 2023 August 7, 2023 Submit Written Questions to the City August 10, 2023 Addendum to RFP sent out by email Upon Award of Contract, the consultant shall obtain a City of Alhambra Business License and maintain one throughout the term of the contract.
