Renovation of an educational facility in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each Proposal submitted shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security (a Certified Check or Bid Bond) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Proposal Price The Proposer to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. In the Citys sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City The Contractor shall Substantially Complete all work and services required under this Contract within Ninety (90) consecutive calendar days of the Citys written Notice to Proceed and shall reach Final Completion within One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days of the Citys written Notice to Proceed (Contract Time). There are existing bleachers at KHS pool and WHS pool as well as benches in WHS locker rooms. All existing will need to be removed as part of scope of work. All measurements will be obtained/confirmed at mandatory pre-bid walk thru. All questions and communications about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website and must be received by 2:00 PM on August 11,2023
