Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in El Cajon, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Installation of new pedestrian bridge at the parking lot of the old Viking location to the main campus. This bid is NOT subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements but always encouraged. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. District is required to have 3% percentage each year. Bidder must provide a DVBE prime or subcontractor at 3% or complete the Good Faith Efforts package. All paperwork due at time of bid. Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, if awarded to the bidder, and will provide the performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates and other documents described in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The forms of the bonds are set forth in the Contract Documents and all bonds must be issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120.
