Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
In general, the work involves, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing, excavation, grading, construction of terraces, intakes, storm sewer, rock drain, revetment placement, erosion control, subgrade preparation, permanent seeding, and installation of 1" water service. This project includes approximately 80,800 cubic yards of excavation, approximately 14.4 acres of permanent seeding, approximately 0.1 acres of wetland fringe seeding, and 1,405 linear feet of 1" water service. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $415,000- $460,000. Questions concerning the Plans and Construction Specifications should be addressed to Luis Leon, P.E., 515-422-7016.
