Site work for a civil project in Porterville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing to Said City All Labor, Materials, Equipment Transportation and Services for the Installation of New Water Pipeline, Concrete Structures, Earthwork and All Other Appurtenances as Shown on the Plans for the North Friant-kern Canal Turnout and Recharge Basin. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bidder's Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Made Payable to the City of Porterville Will Be Required to Accompany Each Proposal. The Right is Reserved by the City of Porterville to Reject Any or All Bids, to Evaluate the Bids Submitted and to Award the Contract According to the Proposal Which Best Serves the Interests of Said City. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish the City of Porterville With a "Performance Bond" in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract and a "Labor and Materials Bond" in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. The Contractor Shall Pay the City Liquidated Damages in the Amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) a Day for Each Calendar Day the Project Is Delayed Beyond the "Time of Completion Date."
