Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of March 4, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Approximately 950 L.F. of water line replacement with 6" to 8" water main on South Carlisle Street near Fenicle Hill Road; Barnett Woods Road from McClure Street to near Main Street; and Apple Street from High Street to near Main Street; 2 water service connections; and related work. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents, including Addenda, are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via electronically "Clarifications" tab. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda, delivered via email, to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received on electronically after Friday, September 15, 2023 by 4:00 PM may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or a Bid bond (EJCDC No. C-430, 2007 Edition) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. Provisions for liquidated damages are set forth in the Agreement.
