Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Hamden, Connecticut. Design plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of February 16, 2024, this project is in the design phase, a design team has been awarded. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The scope and extent of the engineered controls are set forth in an Environmental Land Use Restriction (ELUR) that has been placed on the property. The ELUR restricts, among other things, the demolition of the buildings on the property and the removal of the building slabs absent approval by DEEP. The attachments to this RFP include the ELUR, property studies, and due diligence materials that have been completed for the property. DEEP may have additional documents relative to the investigation and remediation that was performed. he Town of Hamden reserves the right to accept or reject any or all options, bids, or proposals; to waive any technicality in a bid or part thereof submitted, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Hamden.
