**As of September 14, 2023, project was awarded, start date is middle of October and will be completed by end of this year** DES-SW-SP-95-002 The City of Nashua, Division of Public Works, Solid Waste Department is seeking sealed bids to expand an existing concrete block barrier wall inside the landfill (vertical and lateral expansion) to be fabricated from 6-foot long (by 2 feet by 2 feet in dimension) V-groove blocks at the Four Hills Landfill, 840 West Hollis Street, in Nashua, New Hampshire. Construction activities are anticipated to commence on or around September 25, 2023. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed", as follows: 330 calendar days for substantial completion 365 calendar days for contract completion Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $500 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $500 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for contract completion. Deadline for Bidder Questions Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Noon Inquiries must be submitted in writing, citing the IFB title/number, Page, Section, and must be received to City of Nashua 229 Main Street, Room 11, Nashua, NH 03060 purchasing@nashuanh.gov
