It will include the addition of a westbound lane from Mast Boulevard to Santo Road, relocation of the bike lane to the south side of the freeway, add an additional lane to the westbound on-ramp at Mast Boulevard, restriping the section between Mast Boulevard and SR-125 to add an extra lane in each direction, conversion of a westbound lane into a managed lane, and further restriping between Mast Boulevard and SR-125 to add another lane in each direction. Project is included City of Santee Fiscal Year 2025-2030 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project will improve State Route 52 between Interstate 15 and State Route 125 to alleviate congestion on the freeway and on Santee streets. The project will add a westbound lane from Mast Boulevard to the summit, relocate the bike lane to the south side of the freeway, add an additional lane to the westbound on-ramp at Mast Boulevard, and restripe the section between Mast Boulevard and State Route 125 to add an additional lane in each direction. This project is included in the City of Santee's FY 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 4, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated from 2024 to 2026.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
