These detailed specifications are as accurate as possible. It will be the bidder's sole responsibility to be all inclusive with labor, material and equipment necessary to replace the cooling tower and repair the roof at the Juvenile Justice Center. A 10% Bid Bond or Cashier's check made payable to the County of Winnebago MUST accompany your sealed bid, or it will be rejected. Money Orders or Company checks will not be accepted. Within fourteen (14) calendar days of notification of Contract award, a Performance Bond for the amount of the Contract will be required from the successful Bidder and shall be valid throughout the life of the Contract. The Performance Bond will be returned at the successful completion of the Contract. Failure to furnish the required bond within the time specified may be cause for rejection of the Bid and any bid deposit may be retained by the County as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. The County reserves the right to cancel the whole or any part of this Contract (1) upon 120- day written notice, without cause, or (2) upon 30-day written notice due to failure by the Contractor to carry out any obligation, term or condition of the Contract.
