Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The objective for this Statement of Work (SOW) is to provide all management, materials, labor, and equipment necessary for Elevator Repairs (Normandy Hall) and Roof Replacement (Normandy Hall and Okinawa Hall). The work effort includes, furnishing all labor, equipment, parts, materials, riggings, and appurtenances to replace the elevator located in the Normandy Hall in accordance with Appendix 8 plans provided. Roof Replacement efforts are required for both Normandy Hall and Okinawa Hall at the National Defense University, Joint Forces Staff College located in Norfolk, VA. The present general functional characteristics of the elevator, including duty, speed, capacity, travel, stops and openings, shall be retained. Finishes of the new elevator shall be coordinated with the customer. Validation of Government Provided IFC Design package is required. This effort includes but not limited to all necessary architectural, structural, mechanical, fire protection/life safety, electrical and total commissioning efforts as described. Both Normandy Hall and Okinawa Hall will be occupied during the entirety of this project. Work shall occur in accordance with all state and federal laws and meet all required OSHA standards for worker protections
