Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Department of Buildings and General Services (hereinafter the "State") is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies that can provide snow removal services at the various locations. Additional services performed outside the original scope of work that is on state property must be approved in advance by the project manager before services are performed. As such, no changes, alterations, modifications, or amendments to the terms and conditions of this contract shall be effective unless reduced to writing, numbered, signed, and otherwise properly executed by the duty authorized representative of the State and Contractor. Problems with equipment reliability and job quality will be justification for the project manager to require an equipment upgrade as a condition of contract continuation. The contract coordinator will make this decision. Question Deadline 08/04/2023 at 4:30 PM ET The State reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, and to waive technicalities in submissions. The State also reserves the right to make purchases outside of the awarded contracts where it is deemed in the best interest of the State.
