PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The necessary wayfinding signs are being fabricated by a separate contractor and will be shipped to the City of Frankfort. Along with the specified wayfinding signs, the fabrication contractor is responsible for providing twenty-three (23) new poles, all necessary hardware for mounting the wayfinding signs to both existing poles (9) and new poles, clam shell pole bases, Transpo break-away bases, and the engineered drawings for the sign pole concrete foundations. Bid Bond of not less than 5% of the total construction bid. Project will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and determined by the LPA and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The awarded bidder will be responsible for providing a Performance Bond of 100% and a Payment Bond of 100% of the awarded bid amount payable to the LPA. Specified Completion Date: May 24, 2024 The City of Frankfort reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, and to select that bid which it determines to be in its best interest. The award of this bid will be made on the basis of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
