Laboratory Services for Red Cliff Environmental Department Intent: The Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewas Environmental Department (Department) is requesting bids for laboratory services from October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024 with specifications in the Description section. The Red Cliff Tribal Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Vendor shall ensure the ability to conduct the following testing in a certified laboratory: Test three surface water samples for PFAS annually; Test three surface water samples for PFAS and mercury annually; Test ten surface water samples for PFAS, mercury, and nitrogen annually; Test on average twelve fish tissue samples each month for PFAS, PBDE, PCB, and mercury; Test three wild rice kernel samples for PFAS annually; Test eight compost samples (compost is derived from fish and woodchips) for PFAS, PBDE, PCB, and mercury annually; and, Analyze six vegetable samples for PFAS, PBDE, PCB, and mercury annually. Provide sampling bottles, any necessary preservative chemicals, and shipping containers. Submission: Vendors shall ensure that all information required herein is submitted with the bid. Vendors are encouraged to provide any additional information describing operational abilities. Vendors shall include itemized statements from the bidder. All information provided should be verifiable by documentation requested by the Department. Failure to provide all information, inaccuracy or misstatement may be sufficient cause for rejection of the bid or rescission of an award. Payment Method: The laboratory invoices shall be paid within thirty days of receiving an invoice for the respective services. Indicate your ability to accept payments.
