The City of Waynesboro is seeking bids for landscape maintenance of Serenity Garden.The City of Waynesboro (City) Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting competitive price bids for landscape maintenance services including trimming, cleaning, weeding/spraying, edging, and mulching the Serenity Garden in Ridgeview Park. Please note that brick dedications occur the first Sundays of June and October. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a price. The City of Waynesboro will not discriminate against any bidder because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia relating to discrimination in employment. Further, the City of Waynesboro will not discriminate against small and minority businesses of faith-based organizations. he term of the contract shall be effective as of September 1, 2023 and shall terminate on June 30, 2024. The City of Waynesboro reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time, or extend the contract annually for a possible four (4) 1-year renewal terms.
