Site work and renovation of a multi-residential development in Waynesboro, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

A. The Work shall include furnishing all equipment and materials; providing all labor, supervision, administration, and management; and supplying all construction equipment, materials, and services necessary to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Document titled, "Accessibility Improvements Springdale Apartments (VA 36 P022005)" B. The Work of this contract is defined in the Contract Documents which includes, but not necessarily limited to: 1. Demolition of partitions, casework, plumbing fixtures, piping and sanitary vents, electrical systems, and ancillary building systems 2. Partitions, casework, plumbing, and electrical work. 3. Finishes (flooring, painting) The Waynesboro Redevelopment and Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding or to suggest modifications and amendments which would make the bid acceptable. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. For all contracts in excess of $10,000, all bidders must submit an Affirmative Action Plan pursuant to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The plan provides employment opportunities for businesses and lower income persons situated within the City of Waynesboro (a sample of which is bound in the specifications). This Plan must be submitted prior to execution of the contract. Bids may be held by the Waynesboro Redevelopment and Housing Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
