The Accomack-Northampton Regional Housing Authority and the Eastern Shore of Virginia Housing Alliance are preparing to implement housing improvement programs within Accomack and Northampton Counties, the Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation Program and the Eastern Shore of Virginia Rural Homeownership Rehabilitation Program, both of which will use federal HOME Funds. These programs will result in procurement opportunities from contractors licensed in building remodeling, demolition, and well and septic installation, as well as businesses that provide building materials such as paint, floor coverings, roofing, siding, windows, doors, and cabinets.
