Renovation of a parking garage in Hanover, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The scope of work for this project includes the replacement to provide structural modifications to increase the clearance height of up to three (3) existing Department of Public Works garage overhead door entrances. The replacement requires limited demolition, lintel relocation/resetting/replacement, jamb extension, existing brick fascia resetting and relocation of existing lighting and electrical components within the project area. The scope also includes the modification to the existing overhead doors to increase each doors height, as well as the relocation, modification or replacement of overhead door components. The base bid includes modifications to two (2) bay doors and add alternate bid items include modifications to one (1) additional bay door. Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, provided said surety need not be for more than $20,000.00 and may not be less than $500.00 and be delivered at the place and on the hour named above. The successful contractor will be required to furnish property surety bonds conditioned for the faithful performance and payment of the contract. The Township reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days prior to making award. No bids received. The owner plans to rebid the project.
