The City of Dawson Creek (City) invites quotations from qualified solid waste and recycling collection contractors for the provision of citywide automated solid waste and recycling collection, transportation and disposal services. The services required by the City include curbside residential recycling collection and disposal, curbside residential solid waste collection and disposal, as well as the supply of commercial containers for City facilities and the collection and disposal of waste from these containers. The subsequent contract duration will be for a period of 60 months commencing on November 1, 2023 and ending on October 31, 2028. Question Deadline 08/18/2023 at 12:00 AM PT Bid date event: If submissions exceed the permitted email size of the Bidder or the City, Bidders should submit the quotation in multiple emails indicating on each email the total number of emails being sent (1 of 2, 2 of 2). Emails containing ZIP files are not accepted by the City's server and will automatically be rejected. Please note the City of Dawson Creek remains in MST year round and does not observe Daylight Savings Time (DST); therefore all submissions must be received by the City no later than the closing time in Dawson Creek, BC. Late submissions will not be accepted or considered. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the quotations submitted and is not under any obligation to award this RFQ and may elect to terminate this RFQ at any time. A performance bond in the amount of $50,000, and a labour and material payment bond in the amount of $50,000.
