Site Directions: This roadway pavement rehabilitation consists of three project locations for a total length of approximately 1.11 miles. The first roadway rehabilitation area is along Wheeler Road between Welch Creek and Dauberman Road. The second project area is along Jefferson Avenue from Fourth Street to Second Street. The third project location is along Rhodes Street from Price Road to U.S. Route 30. This roadway pavement rehabilitation consists of three project locations for a total length of approximately 1.11 miles. The first roadway rehabilitation area is along Wheeler Road between Welch Creek and Dauberman Road. The second project area is along Jefferson Avenue from Fourth Street to Second Street. The third project location is along Rhodes Street from Price Road to U.S. Route 30. Along Wheeler Road, the existing HMA pavement will be fully removed, the existing aggregate base will be partially removed and prepped by others, and a new 2.25" binder and 1.5" surface course will be constructed. Also along Wheeler Road, a 2-ft aggregate dressed shoulders will be constructed by others. At the Jefferson Avenue location, crumbling sections of HMA pavement along the outer edges of roadway will be sawcut and fully removed. These sections will receive proposed aggregate base course repair and HMA pavement patches at a 4' width. At locations of pavement removal and patching, a 2-ft aggregate dressed shoulders will be constructed. Along Rhodes Street, the existing HMA pavement will be milled at a 2.25" depth and repaved with a 0.75" leveling binder and 1.5" of surface course. A quantity of pavement patching has been included for locations identified by the engineer following milling operations. At all three locations, work will also include landscape restoration of any disturbed areas, pavement markings applied to the final surface, traffic control and protection, as well as all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements described herein.
