The City of Langford (the City) is building a new park and playground on existing Cityowned parkland at 319 Lone Oak Place. The park has been designed by the City for works which comprise this RFP. Works will include the hard and soft landscaping as well as irrigation of the site, including the park, playground and restoration of wetland and riparian areas. Site Work - The playground area has previously been cleared of vegetation and invasives, however the wetland area remains mostly vegetated and no additional clearing will occur prior to the awarding of this RFP. The Proponent will be responsible for all sub-grade and final grading for installation of pavers, curbs, landscaping, etc. as defined in the attached landscape plan: (a) Pavers - design and colour as described in attached landscape plan; (b) Furniture - Proponent will install concrete pads and mount site furniture (furniture will be provided by the City); (c) Landscaping - Proponent to remove necessary remaining vegetation and provide and plant sod and landscaping; (d) Fencing - Proponent to provide and install split rail, wood panel and chain link fencing; (e) Signage - Proponent to install signage as per the City's direction. Signage will be provided by the City; (f) Irrigation - Proponent to install irrigation as per the attached irrigation drawing.
