Abatement And Demolition of Vacated Structures on N Highland Amarillo, Texas Deadline for Questions August 14, 2023 Deadline for Response to Questions August 17, 2023 BID SECURITY: For all contracts above $50,000.00, bidders must submit cashier s or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the Owner or an original bid bond from a surety company that is licensed and active in the State of Texas, to act as surety, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Amarillo, Texas in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bidder s total bid submitted. Performance and Payment Bonds Each bond must be in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the total contract price from a surety company, that is licensed and active in the State of Texas, to act as surety.
