Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As part of the development of the Jumpingpound Demonstration Forest in 1988, a log-built visitor pavillion was constructed which houses forest and wildfire management information. As part of an integrated outreach plan, Calgary Forest Area is renewing the structure as maintenance and repairs have not been completed in a significant number of years. Some of the concrete supporting the structure needs to be repaired and additional concrete poured to provide stability going forward. The roof on the structure is original wooden shakes which will be replaced with metal roofing for longevity.
