NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (NOAA) NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE (NWS) NWS PACIFIC REGION (PR) DATA COLLECTION OFFICE (DCO) - LIHUE UPPER AIR INFLATION BUILDING (UAIB) : Data Collection Office (DCO) Lihue 3260 Kailani Street Lihue, Hawaii 96766-9722 NONPERSONAL SERVICES TO PREPARE AND PAINT EXTERIOR AT THE DCO GENERAL BACKGROUND The National Weather Service's (NWS) mission is to provide weather, hydrologic, and climate forecasts and warnings for the United States, its territories, adjacent waters and ocean areas, for the protection of life and property and the enhancement of the national economy. In support of this mission, the NWS Pacific Region (PR), Facilities Engineering Branch (FEB) provides facilities support and maintenance of NWS facilities, one of which is the Data Collection Office (DCO) Lihue. As part of this responsibility, the exterior of DCO Lihue Operations Office; Upper Air Inflation Building; and Hydrogen Tank Enclosure needs to be prepared for, and painted. Painting is necessary to preserve the original synthetic stucco finish and extend the life of the exterior surface. Provide all equipment, materials, tools, transportation, labor, and supervision necessary to properly prepare surfaces to be painted without damage to the surface, and paint the exterior of both the Operations Office Building and Upper Air Inflation Building (UAIB), including all sides of the UAIB hydrogen tank enclosure wall, all surface mounted electrical conduits and device boxes according to the provisions and requirements contained herein. The is Less than $25,000. Offerors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation in writing to Suzanne.garrett@NOAA.Gov. Questions should be received no later than August 14, 2023 4 pm mst. Any responses to questions will be made in writing, without identification of the questioner, and will be included in an amendment to the solicitation. Even if provided in other form, only the question responses included in the amendment to the solicitation will govern of the contract. Quotes are due by August 22, 2023 4 pm mst and are to be sent to Suzanne.Garrett@NOAA.gov.
