A. Remove and replace (2) air handlers on existing roof in northeast and northwest corners. Approximate roof height is a minimum of 25ft with an 8ft parapet wall surrounding. Access height is minimum 33 ft above grade. A crane will be required for installation and shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor responsible for verifying heights of existing structure access and needed equipment for demolition and installation. B. Contractor to confirm compatible installation of new equipment on existing curbs prior to order and needed adapter curbs The contract will be awarded to the lowest and/or best bid from a responsive responsible and qualified Bidder. Should no award be made within sixty (60) calendar days after opening of proposals, all proposals may be rejected and all proposal guaranties returned, unless the lowest responsive responsible qualified bidder, at the request of the Owner, agrees in writing to a longer delay. Northwest Mississippi Community College reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids if considered not in the best interest of Northwest Mississippi Community College Bidders needing clarifications should fax or email questions as soon as possible in writing. All questions must be sent prior to 08/11/2023 at 2:00 PM CT. Only questions which change the scope of the bid documents will consider for addendum. Addenda will be sent to all bidders, if or when necessary within 2 working days of bid opening will required the bid date to be sent back to a date not less than 5 working days to be acknowledged with the bid response. For the reason bidders are encouraged to investigate this bid and ask questions within the first week of receiving the bid.
