The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is requesting proposals from interested proposers for the replacement of existing fire alarm and security alarm systems at BPU Nearman Water Treatment Plant. The existing fire & security alarm system equipment includes smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual pull stations, door contacts, motion detectors and keypads. Notification appliances include horn strobes. All equipment is wired to ADT Focus 200 Plus alarm panels. All existing equipment is obsolete and shall be replaced. Proposer shall provide equipment, installation and startup services. Proposers may request additional information in writing about the project. All questions must be submitted to the Department of Purchasing & Supply Chain (jbagby@bpu.com and purchasing@bpu.com). Answers to all questions will be compiled and distributed to all Proposers that have submitted the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
