Reference Number NB-0614025-24 This Invitation to Tender consists of snow removal services on behalf of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure at Miramichi Court Complex in Miramichi, NB, for a period of one (1) year from September 1, 2023 until August 31, 2024 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods in one (1) year increments upon written agreement by both parties. Prior to Contract award, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure may consult with other departments and agencies of the Province of New Brunswick to obtain information on the Vendor's past performance within the previous five (5) years. Results from the aforementioned consultations that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the Vendor's bid. Where permissible under the applicable trade agreements and the regulation under the Procurement Act, Service New Brunswick reserves the right to give preferential treatment to a prospective supplier from New Brunswick. Should this right be exercised, the following order of priority will apply: a) firstly, New Brunswick manufacturers if the goods to be procured are manufactured in New Brunswick; and b) secondly, New Brunswick vendors.
