The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation - Acquisition and Procurement Division is issuing this Request for (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation (NRCS) for the Appalachian Plant Materials Center Office Renovations, at 385 Old Prison Farm Road, Alderson, Greenbrier County, WV. Main office work consists of unfastening and repositioning furniture from office walls to prepare worksite for patching and painting all interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and exterior doors and frames. Installing a natural gas line to the kitchen. Installing a water supply line and icebox hookup to the kitchen. Installing a backsplash over the kitchen sink. Replacing the kitchen faucet. Replacing water fountain. Removing and replacing flooring. Headhouse work will consist of replacing double entrance doors in breezeway. Replacing breezeway wall panels and baseboards. Replacing utility sink faucet. Replacing utility room natural gas hot water heater. This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business -. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the representations and certifications electronically via the System for Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for . A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The anticipated period of for this project is 365 calendar days from the the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NAICS code for this solicitation is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $45M.
