At the City’s sole discretion, large projects, planned improvements or projects where detailed specifications are available may not be completed under this contract. Hourly rates shall be provided on an itemized invoice for workforce and/or specialized equipment with service vehicles, proper tools and equipment as required to the complete the project. The Contractor shall be required to visit the proposed job site and furnish a detailed price quote for completing the work. The price quote shall show number of hours, hourly rates and the cost of material. Any request for quotes is considered standard overhead and will be at the Contractor’s expense. All pricing shall be in accordance with the contract. The Contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and travel, necessary to perform the work as requested by City of Petersburg (herein referred to as “the City”) Facility Management Division (herein referred to as FMD). The Contractor shall be capable of performing repairs to and/or complete installation/removal of various types of roofing, such as. a. Asphalt Shingle Roofing b. Modified Roofing (APP and SBS) c. Slate Roofing d. Built-up Roof (felt, asphalt and slag or stone surfacing) e. Metal Roofing f. Single Ply Roofing Membrane (Ethylene, Propylene, Diene Monomer [EPDM]) g. Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) h. PVC Roofing i. Spray Polyethene Foam Roofing The City reserves the right to extend the Contract for any reason for a period or periods up to but not to exceed 12 months.
