Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The intent of the Contract is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of the work described. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work according to the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract. Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond for five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to the City prior to the deadline. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and separate payment bond are required with the contract awarded. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License is required and registration with the Arkansas Secretary of State shall be valid and current at the time of Contract award. The City of Fayetteville reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and postpone the award of any Contract for a period which shall not exceed beyond ninety (90) days from the bid opening date
