Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Mineral Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
**As of October 6, 2023, project was awarded, start date is mid of November and will be completed by end of this year** Work involves construction of 30'x60' salt storage shed. The Township will supply materials for construction and contractor shall only be responsible for assembly of building as depicted on the contract drawings. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price on the forms provided, with a surety company listed on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Pennsylvania. The Owner shall award the contract to the selected bidder or shall reject all bids within 30 days of the date of the bid opening, and no bidder may withdraw his bid before the expiration of such 30-day period; PROVIDED, however, that if the award of the contract is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds or the award of the grant or grants, the Owner shall reject all bids or award the contract to the selected bidder within 30 days of the date of the BID opening, and no bidder may withdraw his bid before the expiration of such 30-day period. Thirty (30) day extensions of the date for the award of the contract may be made by the mutual written consent of the Owner and the selected bidder. Pennsylvania Prevailing wage rates will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices and related matters. Bidders for this contract shall have completed projects similar in character and scope and will be required to provide with their Bid a Qualifications Statement for prime contractor and all subcontractors. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose names and address are on record with Stiffler Architects, LLC as having obtained a copy of the Contract Documents. Frenchcreek Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
