Renovation of an educational facility in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
It is the intent of these plans to replace and upgrade the fire alarm system utilizing existing raceways where possible. If utilizing the existing raceway is not possible, then new raceway shall be installed. Refer to the design documents for additional information on the entirety of the project required work. WA-2024-096 Engineer/Architect Estimate - $155,000.00 The physical work is to be commenced upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Work shall be completed on or before August 1, 2024. Labor rates shall not exceed the applicable Wage Rates (including Prevailing Wage Rates) as published by the State of Nevada Office of the Labor Commissioner. Question Deadline 12/20/2023 at 4:30 PM All questions shall be submitted in writing directly to WCSD's Solicitations website at http://solicitations.washoeschools.net/ or via e-mail to solicitations@washoeschools.net Contractor must agree that Owner may retain from the monies due the Contractor One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) per day (Liquidated Damages) as a direct result of the Contractor's delay or for not completing the project in the required time allowance plus approved time extensions. The right is reserved by WCSD to reject any and all bids or accept the bid, which is deemed by WCSD to be in the best interest of the school district. WCSD also reservesthe right to waive any irregularities and/or informalities in the submitted bids.
