On behalf of the City of Elberton, Agracel, Inc. is soliciting competitive bids from qualified General Contractors to provide general contracting services for the development and construction of a 50,000 SF Speculative Building in the Elberton Industrial Park in Elberton, GA All necessary phases of construction shall be included in the GC's scope of services. Design & engineering services have been completed for the project and those drawings are attached within this request. Agracel will serve as the City of Elberton's Construction Manager and Development Partner. The GC shall coordinate with the City of Elberton and Agracel along with the design team as needed throughout the project. The City of Elberton will be the Owner of the property and will execute the construction contract with selected GC. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and shall comply with all Local, State and National Building Codes, GDOT Standard Specifications, City of Elberton, GA Standards & Requirements, and OSHA Construction Safety Orders The approximately 29-acre building site is located within the Elberton Industrial Park at 1221 Progress Boulevard in Elberton, GA 30635. The building will be constructed along the northeast side of the property. The building will be a speculative building with appurtenances as shown within the current plans and other documents contained within.
