Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project work includes earthwork, storm sewer and underground detention, sidewalk, combination curb-sidewalk, turf and native seeding, and foundations for the future 400'x275' air-supported sports dome. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft made payable to Board of Education, Peoria Public School, in an amount equal to and not less than ten percent (10%) of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft in amount to cover proposal(s) being bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful Bidders will be returned as soon as practical, after opening and checking the bids. Commencement of the work may begin as early as September 16th, 2023 pending the contractors submittal of an executed contract along with the submittal of the required insurance certificate(s), bond(s), and any other miscellaneous documents. All work shall be substantially completed on or before December 22nd, 2023. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner.
