Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
officially known as KICKAPOO TERRACE ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION, The proposed improvement consists of the reconstruction of 213-feet of Kickapoo Terrace with permeable pavers including storm sewer, combination curb and gutter, PCC sidewalk, PCC driveway, ADA curb ramps, restoration, and appurtenant work. All provisions regarding EEO, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DBE and WBE requirements shall be strictly enforced. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. The City of Peoria is committed to promoting equal opportunity and has established the following subcontractor utilization goalsfor city funded construction projects: 10% MBE and 5% WBE The work shall be completed and ready for final payment by November 17, 2023 based ona Notice to Proceed date not later than October 2, 2023.
