Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lincolnton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Divisions one and two to All south Constructors, Inc. in the amounts of $249,589.00 and $402,850.00 respectively. Division three - all bids rejected Division One: Sewerage System Improvements including removal and replacement of mechanical bar screen at the existing water pollution control plant. Time allotted for construction is 270 consecutive calendar days. Division Two: Water Treatment Plant Improvements include installation of approximately 150 H.P. pump and necessary appurtenances. Electrical work including installation of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for new pump and HVAC upgrades to electrical room. Time allotted for construction is 270 consecutive calendar days. Division Three: Dredging and disposal of sludge from the City Water Treatment Plant Alum sludge ponds, including all appurtenances to complete work and clean up. Sludge must be disposed of in a municipal solid waste landfill, unless otherwise approved by Engineer. Sludge will need to be carefully removed as to maintain the integrity of the existing clay liners and Alum Pond structures. Time allotted for construction is 180 consecutive calendar days.
