Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Eureka, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 19,964-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes the demolition of the existing parking stall and construction of a new accessible parking stall complete with a new access ramp to the front entrance of the facility as well as constructing a new accessible path of travel linking the new ramp to the public right of way. In order to avoid any misinterpretation or misrepresentation between the Bidder, the Architect and the County as regards the plans and specifications for the Project, neither the County nor Architect will respond to any verbal or telephone inquiries, however Bidders may submit written inquiries for clarifications or questions by email or mail to the attention of Travis I Smith, County Administrative Office ADA Compliance, 825 5th Street, Room 112, Eureka, CA 95501. Any responses to written Bidder inquiries will be at the full discretion of the County, and any responses will be in writing in the form of an Addendum to these Contract Documents, which will be sent to all Bidders County Administrative Office/purchasing Agent of Humboldt County, a Public Body, Corporate and Politic, for the Performance of All the Work and the Furnishing of All the Labor, Materials, Supplies, Tools, and Equipment for the Following Project: Construction of Economic Development & Child Support Services Tenant Improment and Ada Modification Each Bid must be contained in a sealed envelope addressed as set forth in said Bid Documents and filed at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Humboldt County, 825 5th Street, Room 111, Eureka, California at or before 2:00 P.M., Pacific Daylight Time, on November 14, 2023. All Bids will be publicly opened, and summary amounts read aloud. The officer whose duty it is to open the Bids will decide when the specified time for the opening of Bids has arrived.
