The Village of Northbrook is seeking proposals for the replacement of fire alarm control panels at two critical facilities: Village Hall located at 1225 Cedar Lane, Northbrook, Illinois, and the Village of Northbrook Water Plant situated at 750 Dundee Road, Northbrook, Illinois. The purpose of this project is to enhance safety measures and bring the fire alarm systems up to current standards by replacing the existing non-addressable panels with new addressable panels equipped with specialty sensors. Replace the existing fire alarm control panel at Village Hall with an addressable panel that can accurately pinpoint the location of smoke or heat detection. 2. Replace the fire alarm control panel at the Water Plant with an addressable panel that includes specialty sensors suitable for an environment where chemicals are extensively used. 3. Install 50 new chemical-resistant sprinkler heads at the Water Plant to ensure comprehensive fire protection. 4. Provide all necessary wiring, connections, and components required for a fully operational and compliant fire alarm system at both locations. 5. Integrate the new panels with the existing fire alarm infrastructure, if applicable. 6. Ensure compatibility with the existing notification devices, such as horns, strobes, and annunciators.
