Offer or proposals will not be accepted for this notice. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside Procurement. Any resulting contract will be firm-fixed priced. The solicitation for this project will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY and the revised anticipated download availability date for this solicitation will be on or about 17 October 2023. The Contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and procedures. The Service Contract Act Wage Rates will apply. This project is contingent on availability of funds. If the project is cancelled, all proposal preparation costs will be borne by the offeror. All offerors are advised that they must be registered in SAM.gov (https://www.sam.gov/) in order to receive an award. Joint ventures must also be registered in SAM.gov as a joint venture. Offerors are advised to begin this process when they prepare their proposal in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for award. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Alaska District conducts geotechnical investigations to provide information for projects within or near military installations or civil works projects throughout the state of Alaska. The purpose of the work is to determine the type, character, thickness, stratification of subsurface soil and rock materials, static groundwater conditions, presents of contamination, and geotechnical engineering properties of subsurface materials at the various sites. This information will subsequently be used by the Government to determine geotechnical and environmental design requirement for U.S. military and civil works projects. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supplies including fuel, vehicular transportation, power and water, and all else necessary to complete geotechnical drilling programs.
