Reference number: 1752300 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-08-24 Université de Montréal is issuing a call for tenders to retain the services of a general contractor for mechanical work also involving the management of materials containing asbestos, silica and lead, to be carried out at Pavilion 559 Pavilion Marguerite-d'Youville/Liliane-de-Stewart located at its Montréal Campus. The project consists, but is not limited to, the replacement of expansion tank 0139_559 at the Marguerite d'Youville/ Liliane-de-Stewart pavilion, located at 2375 Chemin de la Côte Sainte-Catherine, Montreal, QC. The new tank will be installed at the location of the unused gas boiler in the boiler room. The work required is to remove the unused gas boiler, remove the defective expansion tank, remove the platform and its access that has become unnecessary, carry out the decontamination work as described in GCMD Inc.'s expert report, and install a new concrete base on the ground for the new tank. The Contractor undertakes to take all necessary measures to respect the schedule for starting work on or around 2023-10-02 allowing the issuance of the Certificate of Final Acceptance no later than: 2024-04-10 (including 20-week delivery time of the tank). *Award is subject to final approval.
