Demolish existing transformer - Furnish and install a replacement 225 kVA, 13.2 kV/208 V transformer. The following options will be considered for the replacement transformer: Option One - Dry Type with Fuses Option Two - Dry Type without Fuses Option Three - Liquid Filled with Fuses Option Four - Liquid Filled without Fuses - Replacement transformer shall be from one of the following manufacturers: Schneider Electric Howard Industries Inc. Larson Electronics Eaton / Cooper Olsun Electronics - The replacement transformer shall be in accordance with the applicable specification: Appendix B - Specifications for Dry-Type Medium-Voltage Transformers Appendix C - Specifications for Liquid-Filled Medium-Voltage Transformers - The contractor shall coordinate all existing underground connection points with the replacement transformer. - Existing concrete pads shall be demolished and replaced with 3000 psi concrete pad reinforced with wire mesh. Replacement pad to extend 3" beyond transformer on all sides. - The contractor shall demolish the existing 600 A disconnect located in the enclosed area adjacent to the existing transformer. Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) is requesting proposals from firms to replace the existing Transformer for the Math Building (MATH) located on the Arnold Campus. Work includes, but not limited to, demolishing and disposing of existing transformer, furnish and install replacement transformer, coordinate all existing underground connection points with the replacement transformer, demolish and replace existing concrete pads, and demolish the existing 600 A disconnect.
