Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Portland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of December 4, 2023, construction has commenced, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Portland Boardwalk Repairs Items of work include concrete patching, structural crack repairs, silane treatment, concrete surface coating and related work. Alternate items of work include repainting decorative bridge railings, replacement of wood decking with composite decking and replacement of expansion joint sealant. A pre-bid conference will not be held. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price. Performance and Payment Bonds: When Contractor delivers the signed counterparts of the Agreement to Owner, Contractor shall also deliver to Owner the performance bond and payment bond (if the Contract requires Contractor to furnish such bonds). The City of Portland reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Portland. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
