Site work and paving for a civil project in North East, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Superstructure Replacement of Wheatley Road Bridge No. CE0060. This contract is for a project located in Cecil County, Maryland. It shall involve the removal of the existing concrete deck and steel beams, substructure modifications and repairs, installation of prefabricated glue laminated timber panel superstructure, installation of traffic barrier, pavement resurfacing, full depth pavement, and associated work. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond of the bidder, payable to the order of Cecil County, Maryland, for five (5) percent of the total bid amount. The Contract Payment and Contract Performance Bond are each to be in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the Contract amount. Question Deadline: 09/01/2023 at 3:00 PM ET The completion time for this Contract shall be a maximum of 120 calendar days and shall begin on the actual start date of the Project as per "Notice to Proceed". Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids containing bidding irregularities.
